Achievments and Next Actions
BACC has already achieved three Belgian business missions :
- Two missions with the region of Wallonia in 2007 and 2009 with as a co-organizer with the AWEX (Agence Wallonne pour l’exportation) with the leadership of Mr Philippe Suinen (CEO of AWEX) and the participation of his Excellency Charles Ghislain Ambassador of Belgium to the Republic of Armenia.
- One mission with the Flanders region in 2008 as partner of Flanders Investment and trade (FIT).
BACC has of course organized different conferences promoting bilateral trade relations between Armenian and Belgian Entrepreneurs.
- A joint conference Armenia-Georgia countries of opportunities for Belgian Investments, with the participation of H.E. Salome Samadashvili Ambassador of Georgia and H.E. Viguen Tchitechian Ambassador of Armenia ; the CEO of McKinsey Belgium Mr Pierre Gurdjian was also present giving us a clear overview on the economic situation of both countries.
- One prestigious conference in 2007 at the “Cercle de Lorraine” with more than 100 businessmen coming to listen to Robert Kocharian former President of the Republic Armenia (R.A.).
- Another conference in 2008 at the Belgian HQ of AXA Insurance with the participation of various Managers of Armenian Banks and Insurance companies with the presence of Mr N.Yeritsyan Minister of Economy and Trade of R.A. and the Belgian Financial Elite such as the “Vice-President” of the National Bank, representatives of Febelfin, managers of banks,…
